As a small non-profit organization we depend significantly on volunteers to keep the shelter running and the animals living in a humane, loving environment.  There are many types of volunteer oppurtunities for participation in our organization, here are just a handful:

In the Shelter...  We always need volunteers at the shelter to walk dogs, socialize with the animals, perform basic cleaning tasks, etc.

At Petsmart...  On weekends we drive to the Petsmart in Greenburg to offer our animals for adoption.  We need help setting up cages, assisting potential adopters, and walking dogs.

Phone Calls...  Provide follow-up calls to adoptive parents to check on the animal's progress.

Fundraisers...  We rely solely on fundraisers to support the shelter.  There are a number of regular fundraisers we promote and always need help orchestrating these events and with public relations in getting advertisements with local media of all types to promote these events.

•  All volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

• Volunteers must fill out volunteer application and be orientated. ( download application above )

• Those volunteers under 18 years of age must have a parent's signature on their volunteer application.

• Before starting, all volunteers must attend an orientation to learn about the shelter and how things are done.
