| In Memory of Mama After being found as a stray and brought to the shelter, the 16 year old spaniel mix spend a year and a half with us where we thought she would spend the rest of her life. On December 23rd a wonderful person called the shelter and said that she really wanted to give Mama a home for Christmas. After a rough battle with cancer, food allergies, stiff and painful joints, and a heart condition, Mama left this earth a very happy,loved girl on February 15th, 2010. Mama has gone to Rainbow Bridge where she will live without pain or grief. We have no idea what types of misfortunes she endured before she came to the shelter, but we do know that she had a wonderful one and a half years that were full of love. She did not leave this earth alone, but instead she left enveloped in love from her new family and her Fayette Friends of Animals family! Mama, you will always be missed and remembered! |

| "Anthrocon is the world's largest convention for those fascinated with anthropomorphics, which are humanlike animal characters. We are a collection of artists, animators, writers, costumers, puppeteers, and just everyday fans who enjoy cartoon animals and their kin. This Summer we will convene at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA, from June 24-27, 2010 for workshops, panel discussions, an art exhibition and a dealer room, and much more!"
