Injured cat in need of help!

Fayette Friends of Animals recently lended a helping hand to another local shelter by taking over the care of an injured cat.  The poor feline had aparently been fitted with a collar at an early age.  The collar had never been adjusted, but of course, the cat continued to grow.  The collar had grown into the neck of the cat, and had to be carefully removed, revealing injuries.  The cat is currently in good condition, but our shelter needs help to pay for this and many other similar cases that we deal with on a regular basis.
