A No-Kill Shelter & Rescue
WELCOME!

Our Featured Animals
Ruff-Ruff! My name is Goldie, and as you can tell I am a
beautiful yellow lab mix. I am about 2-3 year old and I am
a very big girl. Don't let my size fool you, I have a soft
heart. I may appear to have a cold outer shell at first but
once I warm up to you, I will just melt in your arms.

I am very smart and am learning many commands while I
am waiting for my forever home. I know how to sit, lay, and
crawl! I have a wonderful trainer named Lori who works
with me every weekend and has taught me how to act like
a proper lady. I am housetrained as well.

I am sad and lonely and I lay on my shelter bed and dream
of being someone's best friend. I hope someone nice will
notice me soon and decide to take me home. I will love
them forever with all of my heart and never forget what
they've done for me.

My adoption fee is $65.00 and I am spayed,
microchipped, vaccinated and ready to go home with you!
I do have a money back guarantee since I am part of the
Lonely Hearts Club here at the shelter!
Meow...Hellllo! My name is Daggie and I am a beautiful
female tabby kitty with sweet little "Meow!" Some may
say I am a special needs kitty because when I am
nervous, I may begin to shake. The kind veterinarian
said it is nothing to worry about, I can still live a full and
happy life being the purrrrrrfect mate!

I was dumped at the shelter doors when I was 4 months
old with lots of other kitties. We were all jammed into a
very small carrier, and we sure couldn't wait to get out! I
don't mind having buddies around me, in fact I have a
brother who is still here at the shelter with me.

I've been here for a few months and while the staff and
volunteers at the Fayette Friends try hard to give us all
special attention, its very hard with so many kitties. I
would really like to find the purrrrrrrfect furrrrrrever home!
I am part of the Lonely Hearts Club here at the shelter so
my adoption fee is $50.00 and I am spayed, vaccinated
and leukemia tested as well!
A Rescue Dog’s Prayer

Dear God,
Please send me somebody who'll care!
I'm tired of running, I'm sick with despair
My body is aching, it's so racked with pain
And dear God, I pray as I run in the rain
That someone will love me and give me a home
A warm cozy bed and a big juicy bone

My last owner tied me all day in the yard
Sometimes with no water and God, that was hard!
So I chewed my leash God and I ran away
To rummage in garbage and lie as a stray

But now God, I'm tired and hungry and cold
And I'm so afraid that I'll never grow old
They've chased me with sticks, hit me with stones
While I run the streets just looking for bones!

I'm not really bad God, please help if you can
For I have become just a "victim of man!"
I'm wormy dear God and I'm ridden with fleas
And all that I want is an owner to please!

If you find one for me God,, Ill try to be good
I won't chew their shoes and I'll do as I should.
I'll love them, protect them and try to obey
When they tell me to sit, to lie down or to stay!

I don't think I'll make it too long on my own
Cause I'm getting so weak and I'm, Oh so alone
Each night as I sleep in the bushes I cry
Cause I'm so afraid God, that I'm gonna die!

I've got so much love and devotion to give
That I should be given a new chance to live.
So dear God please, please answer my prayer
And send me somebody who will really care.
